Rack-mount power distribution just got an upgrade! The PowerBrite Pro is the perfect power protection and power distribution system for any standard 19” rack. However, where it really shines is with rack mount road cases! If there is electronic equipment in a rack case, there should be a PowerBrite in the top rack panel position. The reasons are endless! To start, it provides power conditioning and protection to all the equipment in the rack, protecting against peak voltage surges, spikes, and RFI/EMI issues. There are 8 switched outlets on the rear panel giving you a spot to plug-in all the equipment in the rack. To make it even more convenient, 4 outlets are horizontally spaced vertical outlets giving you plenty of room for power transformers or “walwarts”. There is a 9th unswitched outlet on the front panel, perfect for soldering irons and utility. All outlets are protected not only by the built-in power conditioning but with a front panel 15A circuit breaker. Let’s not stop there! Separate 3 digit LED displays on the front panel show you the incoming voltage and the total load of your devices powered by the PowerBright Pro! At a glance you can see if house power is OK... or if there are problems. Next up, the fact that most road rack cases are used in dark backstage areas. The PowerBright won’t keep you in the dark with front panel pull-out illumination lamps. When pulled out, five super-bright LED’s downward illuminate your entire rack, and can be rotated left or right for partial side illumination. What... you think 5 super-bright LED’s would be too bright? No problem, there is smooth full range dimmer right on the front panel. For those rear panel connections in the dark a rear panel USB connector is provided to power a gooseneck LED plug-in illuminator also included. With super-bright white LED’s the light is cool running, and long lasting. How long lasting? The manufacturer offers a lifetime warranty on the LED lighting and dimmer! It really doesn’t get any better than this! A 10’ heavy duty AC cord is provided to be the main power cord for the rack. The entire unit is in a single black rack panel, and measures 19”W x 1.75”H x 8.2”D (10.8”D with light cylinders pulled out). |
