Following the groundbreaking success of the C01U, Samson is taking USB mics to the next level! All the benefits of direct-to-USB recording - No in/out boxes, pre-amps, or expensive Digital Audio Workstation hardware is required to use this mic - with an even beefier multi-pattern mic! Based on Samson's C03, the C03U features dual 19mm internal shock mounted diaphragms with switchable omni, cardioid, and figure-8 pick up patterns - giving it unmatched versatility! Great for a variety of specialized recording situations - use it for multiple vocalists, ambient room micing, or recording a group of people! As with the C01U, Samson provides their SoftPre application software free to owners of the C03U, giving added functionality and control, including an Input Level Meter, Volume Control, High-pass filter, and Phase Switch. If you choose not to utilize this software, the mic will still work just fine with your computer's built-in drivers!
