To start, you have an ultra reliable CD/MP3 player with a host of professional features. Not only does it play CDs and CD-R/RWs, but it also plays MP3 data discs and displays ID3 tags! Playback features ±16% pitch control allowing variable speed playback without changing the pitch! Speed up the playback to fit the spot time without having the “chipmunk” effect! Great for those “terms and conditions” at the end of a local spot! You can also change the Tempo without changing the Key. The CD/MP3 playback has its own dedicated RCA unbalanced analog outputs as well as coaxial and optical digital outputs. From there we go to the MiniDisc mode. Start with the latest and greatest MiniDisc transport. It supports ST, Mono, LP2 and LP2 record and play modes. Edit functions are built-in for simply front panel audio editing. It also features overwrite recording. Similar to the adjacent CD/MP3 player, the MiniDisc player features a ±12.5% pitch control allowing variable speed playback without changing the pitch. In addition, RCA unbalanced analog inputs and coaxial and optical digital inputs are provided giving you unlimited recording versatility. If you need to dub from CD/MP3 to MiniDisc, no problem... the MDCD1 features 4X autodub for automatic one touch dubbing! The MDCD1 also includes a standard PS/2 keyboard input for easy titling of tracks and files as well as external control. A wireless IR remote control is also included giving you full control of the unit. All of this is packed into just 2 rackunits, making it perfect for space conscious environments and road case installations.
