A lot of people don't know how you "blow out" your speakers. They think they just overdrove them, and...that was it! That's not how it works! Virtually all speaker blowouts are caused when the power amplifier driving them shorts out causing a destructive DC voltage directly to the speaker terminals. Did you blow your amp? Sure, but you don't have to destroy your expensive speakers at the same time!

Install the M4701B directly in-line between your amplifier and your speakers and you will be protected! The speaker will be disconnected from the line the instant a DC voltage is detected. Designed for speakers with a handling capacity of 300 watts, the protector detects and protects a DC input voltage up to 90VDC with a minimum safety voltage of 10VDC. The heavy duty protection relay has contacts rated at 10 amps. No additional power is required to the circuit; merely insert between your amplifier and speakers.

Measures 1.6" x 2.6". If you are not going to install these protectors inside your speaker housings, order the recommended case set for a nice finished look.
