How do you ship via FREE Shipping?
Free Shipping orders are sent via UPS Ground. Please note UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Do you have a minimum order amount?
No, you can place an order of any size but because we offer free shipping we do have a low order fee of $10 for any merchandise order below $50.  

Do I still have the same warranty as if I purchased through Ramsey Electronics?
Yes, since we are authorized re-sellers you still qualify for the same warranty. Read more about Ramsey Electronics warranty policy.

Why are some FM Transmitters for Export Only?
Due to FCC law some FM Transmitters are too powerful to be sold to the general public with out a license. The FM Transmitters that are for export only are the:

• FM35BWT
• FM100BWT

Since the FCC only can regulate the United States they can not prevent these items from being sold with the intent of exporting them.

Why do some FM Transmitters only come as a kit?
The FM Transmitters that only come as a kit are the:

• FM10C
• FM25B
• FM30B 
• FM100B
• FM100BEX 

This is due to FCC law Part 15, which regulates low power FM Transmitters and the ones mentioned above are too powerful to qualify as FCC Part 15.  In other words, in order to be able to legally use them you need to have a FCC license. 

Part 15 FM Transmitters do not require a FCC license to operate. For a FM Transmitter that is powerful enough to cover your entire home but still be Part 15 compliant visit Whole House FM Transmitter. 

Since the FCC only can regulate the United States they can not prevent these items from being sold with the intent of exporting them.

What is the maximum number of FM Transmitter Kits I can own?
The maximum number of FM Transmitter Kits the FCC will let you have is six (6).

Can I build a FM Transmitter Kit and then sell it on eBay or some other place?
No, the FCC is very clear that you can not build a FM Transmitter kit and then sell it. This would obviously defeat the purpose of regulating FM Transmitters that exceede the Part 15 limits.

How difficult are the kits anyways, Its just snap a few things together and I'm done, right?
No, the Ramsey Electronics kits are designed with electronics enthusiasts and hobbyist in mind so you will need to know how to solder, read schematics, understand circuitry, etc. Here is a Kit Building and Soldering Guide that Ramsey Electronics produces to cover some of the basics.
