Usually that's just before they get blown to the ground along with their producer and camera crew! Well now you can have the same professional wind speed meter on a hobbyist budget!

This doesn't just stop at the current wind speed however. Besides displaying the realtime instantaneous wind speed in your choice of MPH, KM/H, M/S, or Knots, it also stores and records the maximum gust AND average since it was powered up! In addition, realtime wind speed is also displayed on a Beaufort wind scale ranging between 0 and 12.

Like the wind speed, realtime temperature is also displayed in your choice of F or C. Plus, as a derivative of wind speed and realtime temperature, wind chill is calculated and also displayed in your choice of F or C.

For your convience the anemometer is housed in a rugged, weather resistant housing and includes a neck strap for easy carrying. The built-in battery saver circuit keeps the anemometer running for nearly a near with a single lithium button cell!
