The CDRW900SL now adds Tascam’s patented slot-loading transport to give you years and years of reliable service. Indispensable features like MP3 playback, pitch and key control, keyboard input, and more are also included! MP3 playback reads ID3 tags for track name displays and features directory navigation. 
CDRW900SL - Features RCA Unbalanced Audio I/O’s
Sample rate conversion makes it easy to record CD’s. Since audio CDs must be recorded at 44.1kHz, the CD-RW900SL offers sample rate conversion for the digital input. This allows a 48kHz recording session from a digital console, computer DAW system or DAT recorder to be recorded to CD without converting to analog and back to digital. Naturally, the converter can be defeated for a pure digital signal path for digital signals that don’t need conversion. With digital level adjustment, the digital signal input of the CDRW900SL can be adjusted as easily as the analog signal level. The PS/2 keyboard input allows the user to name tracks while recording. It also provides keyboard shortcuts to commonly used recording features. 
CDRW901SL - Features XLR Balanced & RCA Unbalanced Audio I/O’s
You can vary the pitch easily with up to 16% pitch control during playback, and the Key Original feature that lets you change the playback speed without changing the pitch! The CDRW900SL provides unbalanced RCA analog inputs and outputs for use with common consumer audio equipment. The CDRW901SL provides both balanced XLR analog inputs and outputs for use in broadcast and other professional installations requiring balanced audio as well as unbalanced RCA inputs and outputs. Of course, coaxial and optical digital inputs and outputs are provided! The CDRW901SL also provides additional professional features including RS-232 control, AES/EBU digital I/O, timed track increment (selectable from 1 to 10 minutes) for adding CD track ID markers during recording, Continuous Recording between two CDRW901SL’s, and a wired remote control. Like all Tascam products, the CDRW900SL and the CDRW901SL were designed with usability in mind. A good interface is the most important feature of all! Operates on 110VAC. 220VAC/50Hz available as a special order, subject to availability.
