The 202MKIV is the next generation of dual well decks from Tascam. Replacing the 202MKIII from last year's Ramsey catalog, the 202MKIV has all the features of the 102MKII, plus an additional tape deck and loads of new dual-deck recording features! Continuous playback and recording are great features for uninterrupted long-term recording. The deck will automatically switch to the second tape when the first one finishes playing/recording! Parallel recording is also available to easily make multiple recordings of the same source, and the high-speed dubbing feature uses internal pass-through audio for unrivaled quality. "Syncho-Reverse Dubbing" is a unique feature of the 202MKIV that will allow you to dub from shorter tapes to longer tapes or vice-versa without problems. If your source tape finishes a side before the destination tape, the source tape will stop and the destination tape will automatically record silence until it finishes its side. When the destination tape switches sides, the source tape will automatically resume playback and the destination tape resumes recording. Operates on 110VAC. 220VAC/50Hz available as a special order.
